The 20th annual Kurling for Kids funspiel was held at MWCC on April 7th. A total of 96 curlers as well as friends, families and numerous volunteers were present to celebrate this special event. The local bakery, Patisserie de la Gare donated cookies, croissants and chocolatines;  Action Sport Physio was also there all day with a massage table to soothe the aches of first time curlers; our ice-men Greg & Joe kept the ice & hacks in top shape; Barb provided nourishment to the masses, Kari tended the bar, and Nacy, John and a host of volunteers kept the event running smoothly.

The fun day was a great success with so many participants, volunteers and sponsors present. A total of $ 413,885.10 was raised between 11 curling clubs in the greater Montreal area, bringing our grand total to $3.25 million in funds raised since 1999. As in past years, the MWCC family rose to the challenge and raised over $74,000 to help the cause!
