The Wilkinson Day of the Dead party on November 3rd was nothing short of a successful evening. Most curlers played in costume, Hallowe’en-themed dishes were served after the games, and eight out of nine teams brought a decorated pumpkin!

On Oct 28th, members who attended the Opening dinner were treated to a wonderful meal by Chef Jacques Gilmore and an encore performance of singing and songs performed by Dave Moran.

Thanks to the hard work of our summer volunteers and the Master Ice Wizards – Karl & Mirko, we are ready to slide out of the hacks next weekend. Come check out the club during the Open house Oct 1 & 2 and lend a hand (or slide) as we welcome potential new members!

Our annual award presentations were held on April 29th followed by a festive “Indian” themed closing dinner. Congratulations to all the winners from the 2016-17 season!

Three MWCC teams made the playoffs and finished on the podium at the 2017 Caledonia Cup competitions this past weekend. Congratulations to the Rob Philion Rink, the Genevieve Lemieux Rink and the Gloria Toteda Rink for a solid performance!

Congratulations to our Junior Boys team – Danny, Chris, Tyler and Simon – for winning the 2017 Green Junior Bonspiel in Schenectady, NY, March 3-5, 2017.
