The Quebec Elite Junior Championships (U21) were held at the MWCC between January 4-8, 2016. A total of 8 boys teams and 7 girls teams competed for the chance to represent Quebec at the Canadian Junior Championships in late January. Our own Dominique Jean skipped her team to a 5-1 record in the round robin, then won the extra-ender in the semi-final to make it to the finals. Despite another very close finish (11th end), Team Jean lost to St-Georges, but earned a well deserved silver medal.  After the playoffs were completed, Team Félix Asselin from Glenmore (7-0) and Team St-Georges from Laval-sur-le-Lac (6-0) were crowned Quebec champions for 2016. At the opening ceremonies, past Junior champions Alex Hall, Adam Freilich, Rob Philion & Trish Dempsey guided the ceremonial first rock to the button!
