The Vice President’s Bonspiel was held on January 3rd, 2019 and the 36 participants were eager to start the new year on our newly resurfaced ice sheets. Curlers of all ages from our day and evening leagues participated in the 2 game x 4 end draw format. After the brooms had been stacked and celebratory drinks poured, two teams tied for top honours. Congratulations to skip Rick Hughes, with Claude Tellier, Tom McPherson & Maureen Custy; and to skip Mark Romer, with Paul Suchecki & Cathy McKeown as well as all who turned out to compete and enjoy the evening.
