On November 16th, 13 teams from MWCC competed against local area clubs in the annual ARCM Grande Dame and Grand Match competition. MWCC fielded 3 women’s teams and a record 10 men’s teams to qualify in both categories for the first time in 10 years! Our teams played through the required 10 ends with some winning big time, some losing large and only one very close competition which ended in a tie. Kudos to all the participants for representing our club and to the organizers, ice maintenance crew and entertainment committee volunteers who put on a delicious spread at our club for the morning and afternoon matches.
