The Grand Match / Grande Dame competition was played on Saturday, November 20, 2022
A total of 104 teams from 16 different clubs participated in this year’s Grand Match competition. Montreal West teams won 7 and lost 1 during the day. This was enough to allow Montreal West to win the event for the first time since 1957 & 58!! (The contest was first played in 1925). Congratulations to all the teams and volunteers!
In The Grande Dame there were 54 teams participating from 16 different clubs. Montreal West had 3 ladies teams participate. Overall, they finished with 1 win, 1 tie and 1 loss and ended up 9th overall. Kudos to all 3 teams for their participation.
