2026 / 2027 Sparing policy
To increase membership value, support our leagues, and engage potential members, we are launching a sparing policy pilot for the 2026/2027 season
1) Member-Invited Guest Sparing: A spare can be invited by a member in good standing only. This is being added to increase the value to our membership. For example, this will allow members to invite visiting family or friends to come curl.
• Each Member can invite a maximum of 2 guests to spare for the season.
• Cost: $30 each time.
• Spare must pay at the bar. If spare can’t pay, member hosting the guest will be invoiced.
• The bar team will check off members name from list to track the success and validity of the program for review at the end of the season.
2) Social Membership Sparing: This option is designed for individuals who cannot commit to a full league but wish to remain engaged with the club.
• Social membership includes *4 free sparing sessions* per season.
• If a social member wishes to spare a 5th time, they must upgrade to a Full Membership
• The bar team will check off social member name from the list to ensure the integrity of the program.
All spares must be approved by the league coordinator(s).
For all other exceptions or request, please bring to the attention of the president/vice-presidents for review.
